Hello, my name is Wendy Leighton, and I am the owner-operator of Ground Works Garden Care.  I am located in beautiful Vienna, Maine.  I established my company to help you maintain your  small to medium size garden(s).  Additionally, I have a special interest in facilitating gardening opportunities for individuals who would like to try gardening or who would like to continue gardening but are not able to get down to the soil. One solution can be to bring the soil to the gardener in the form of container and/or raised bed gardening.      I am a lifelong gardener of both ornamentals and vegetables. I have an AAS degree in Sustainable Agriculture from Kennebec Valley Community College that includes a year of Horticulture at Southern Maine Community College. I also have a Bachelor Degree in University Studies, Maine Studies Track, from the University of Maine , Orono. I take great pride in my work and I will treat your garden(s) with the care I do my own.  ​
